General Construction Labourer

Job Description:

We are currently seeking a motivated and hardworking individual to join our team as a General Construction Labourer. The ideal candidate will have experience in construction or landscaping, possess a strong work ethic, and demonstrate a willingness to learn and grow within our company.

Responsibilities:

• Assist with various construction and landscaping tasks, including but not limited to digging, grading, cleaning and salvaging materials, and moving materials.
• Operate and maintain landscaping equipment such as ride-on mowers, tractors, excavators, trimmers, and blowers and perform maintenance on them.
• Assist in the installation of hardscape features such as walkways and retaining walls.
• Direct traffic at or near construction sites.
• Follow safety protocols and procedures to ensure a safe work environment for yourself and your colleagues.
• Work effectively as part of a team to complete projects within specified timelines and budget constraints.
• Communicate effectively with supervisors and fellow team members to coordinate tasks and workflow.

Requirements:

• Previous experience in construction, landscaping, or a related field preferred.
• Ability to perform physically demanding tasks in various weather conditions.
• Strong work ethic and willingness to take on new challenges.
• Reliable transportation to and from job sites.
• Basic knowledge of landscaping techniques and equipment operation.
• Ability to work well independently as well as part of a team.
• Excellent communication skills and attention to detail.
• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record (preferred).
