YES Launches new program, the YES WorkAbility Program, to educate employers on inclusive mental health hiring, onboarding and promoting activities. YES President & CEO discusses empowering employers to foster mental health inclusivity.

On October 17, YES launched its new National Employer Training initiative, the YES WorkAbility Program, designed to assist employers in creating inclusive and accessible workplaces for persons with mental health disabilities. This project will build employer awareness, raise the profile of persons with mental health disabilities within the labour market, and help workplaces thrive in creating mentally healthy environments for all employees. YES President & CEO Tim Lang discusses the importance for employers to participate in programs like WorkAbility, citing the growing issue of mental health in Canada and the need for employers to be part of the solution.
