Job Central
Job Central assists youth 15 – 30 years of age to find employment through group-based employment skills training and quality employment placements. The program provides holistic services for youth who are out of school, unemployed, and are facing barriers to finding a job.

he program begins with two weeks of group-based employment and life skills workshops, where youth receive minimum wage. Upon successful completion of the training period participants can enter a paid full-time eight-week work placement, with the goal of permanent employment at the end of this placement period.
All youth selected for the program must meet the following eligibility requirements:
- Canadian citizenship, permanent resident, or Convention Refugee status
- legally entitled to work in Canada
- out of full-time work and school, and looking for full-time employment
