Shipper and Receiver

Grizzly ASE is looking for a full-time Shipper and Receiver to join our growing team!

Job Description:

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Shipper and Receiver. Your primary responsibility will be to handle accurately and efficiently incoming and outgoing shipments, ensuring timely delivery and inventory management.

Responsibilities:

Receiving

• Receive returns, count and confirm quantities, determine condition and complete paperwork;
• Receive and inspect inbound product according to our protocols.
• Organize & place product in correct location based on our protocols.

Shipping

• Obtain & prioritize orders and select products from the proper locations;
• Verify accuracy of orders picked, escalate concerns to Supervisor;
• Stage and securely pack product
• Place the appropriate documentation with each order and ensure all cases are clearly labelled; and accurately marked (e.g., pick/pack slips, stickers);
• Palletize cases, wrap (manually), and load pallets onto trailers;

Other

• Ensure all equipment is in proper working
• Assemble/prepare product for shipping.
• Safely operate various power equipment including, but not limited to, pallet movers, forklifts.
• Encourage safe work practices in others, communicate to Supervisor areas where safety training and enforcement is needed, and adhere to Health & Safety
• Other duties as assigned.

Requirements:

• Prior experience with shipping or receiving.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
• Effective written and verbal communication skills
• Forklift License
• Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy in record-keeping
• Ability to drive/operate in narrow spaces with accuracy
