Landscape Labourer

The Landscape Labourer will be responsible for planting, installing, and maintaining customer gardens and lawns throughout the use of various tools and machinery with a priority on customer service, efficiency and safety.  This person will desire to work in a team environment, have strong work ethic, and be detail oriented.

Responsibilities:  install rock gardens, ponds, patios, drainage systems, irrigation systems, retaining walls, fences, water features, lighting and plantings.  Spread topsoil, lay sod, plant flowers, grasses, shrubs, and trees.  Perform Fall & Spring clean up; weed gardens, prune shrubs & trees.  Edge around flower beds, walkways and walls.  Attached wires from planted trees to support stakes.  Decorate gardens with stones & pavers.  Execute other maintenance duties as directed by supervisor/manager.  Ensure job sites are cleaned of all debris/materials before leaving the client's property.

Follow all Health & Safety regulations including wearing appropriate protective equipment. Clean working areas, maintain tools & equipment.

Requirements:  No education required, will train.  Willingness to learn & develop new skills.

Working Conditions:  Fast-paced; handling heavy loads, physically demanding; bending, crouching, & kneeling.

Salary:  $22.00/hour
