Summary:

The goal of this position is to provide support to the Director of Communications & Public Policy. The Digital Marketing Coordinator provides support for event marketing and promotion as well as member communications through different platforms.

Responsibilities:

  1. Support digital marketing efforts for the 2025 OAMHP Symposium, including promoting the event on social media and assisting with the creation of marketing materials such as graphics, posts, and email campaigns.
  2. Help plan and implement member engagement strategies across platforms like Instagram, LinkedIn, and Facebook, using tools such as Canva and Buffer.
  3. Assist in developing tracking systems for digital campaign performance—including social media reach, email engagement, and website traffic—to support real-time optimization and post-event analysis.
  4. Help manage and update Symposium-related content on the OAMHP website using WordPress and Beaver Builder.
  5. Assist with any additional communications or marketing tasks, depending on expertise and organizational needs.
  6. Other administrative duties as assigned

Education:

Candidates of any educational background, provided they demonstrate the necessary skills in communications, marketing, or related areas.

Skills:

  • Interest in working in the field of Communications and Marketing
  • Strong computer skills (E-mail, Microsoft Office Suite etc.)
  • Experience using multiple social media platforms.
  • Experience with design software such as Canva.
  • Experience using WordPress and Beaver Builder.
  • Attention to detail.
  • Ability to manage time and priorities.

Working Conditions:

  • Sitting for extended periods of time
  • Ability to lift 20lbs
  • 30 hours per week
  • Ability to work remotely

Remuneration:

$20.00/hour, 35 hours/week, 8 weeks
