Discovering Direction: YES’ First Hybrid Roundtable Event!

YES was thrilled to host our first hybrid roundtable event at the Centre for Social Innovation this past September! This event, part of the Citi Foundation funded YES 2 Tech initiative, brought together our program participants along with program partners SAS, Amazon Web Services and IBM, to discuss technology, changing demographics and globalization altering the types of jobs available and the skills required for them.
We heard an inspiring keynote address from Josef Azam, CEO and Co-Founder of Design Shopp International, and engaged our attendees in a lively panel discussion. In addition, we were honoured to present 3 participants of the YES 2 Tech program with participant awards acknowledging the outstanding perseverance they have shown in the face of life’s challenges while attending the program. Thank you to everyone who took the time to attend in person and virtually – we look forward to hosting further roundtable events in the future!
