CityNews on Youth Struggles to Find Work: YES CEO Tim Lang & Euel Ishmael Matos Vargas

June 2025 – Rhianne Campbell from CityNews reported on the growing challenges young people are facing in securing employment. She spoke with YES CEO Tim Lang and Euel Ishmael Matos Vargas, a current YES client. Euel shared that, despite months of effort, he had struggled to find work before connecting with YES.

Lang noted, “Despite these more difficult times, there are still employment opportunities, and it’s critical to cast a wider net.” He also highlighted the YES solution — a free program with a nearly 90% success rate in helping youth find meaningful employment.
