Description
QCC is hiring an energetic and results-driven Administrative Assistant to join our Team for the summer. The Administrative Assistant will be integral to QCC’s organizational fabric, working closely with several departments to increase the efficiency of processes and enhance a diversity of projects through their administrative support. This is the ideal position for someone taking their first step into a career in administration, member services or data management, while leveraging their knack for connecting with people.
Job Type: Full-time, Contract (July 4th, 2022, to August 26th, 2022)
Reports To: Manager, Governance & Strategic Projects
Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 9 am until 5 pm
Working Location: This is a hybrid position, with some in-office hours required, and other flexible days with the option to work from home.

What You’ll Do
· Client Service
o Flex your client service & problem-solving skills by responding warmly to member calls and emails as an organization ambassador
· Analytical Skills
o Compile survey data and analyze trends in thousands of member responses as part of QCC’s first-ever Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DEI) Gap Analysis Project, working closely with the DEI Research Intern
o Compile survey data collected through QCC’s post-event surveys, analyze event feedback trends and generate a report to QCC Management detailing the findings and any resulting recommendations
· Leadership
o Show initiative by continuously recommending and driving process improvements and system enhancements.
· Communication
o Proactively reach out to members via phone to enhance organizational presence; demonstrating your ability to communicate the organization’s value while actively listening to and validating member needs and wants
o Calling members with outdated profiles on our database to confirm their contact information and areas of interest
· Digital Skills
o Showcase your digital data expertise by recording member data in our member database software, Wild Apricot
o Synthesize member information into reports that can be analyzed to deduce actionable improvements to our member engagement
· Administrative Skills
o Demonstrating attention to detail by transitioning physical files to digital, supporting the organization’s modernization
o Appreciating how the care to complete small routine tasks can accumulate to create a larger overall impact on an organization
· Teamwork
o At QCC, every voice has an impact; participate in projects to implement system changes and improvements, both individually and with the team
