QCC is hiring an energetic and results-driven Administrative Assistant, Special Projects to join our Office Administration team. The Administrative Assistant will be integral to supporting a special organization-wide project, orchestrating the logistical and hands-on details of the office transition to a new floor in the building. This is the ideal position for someone taking their first step into a career in office administration while leveraging their project management skills and knack for organization.

Job Type: Short-term, Contract; 4 weeks, 35 hours per week, December 6th - January 10th, holiday break December 26th - January 2nd
Reports To: Manager, Governance and Strategic Projects
Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 9:00 am - 5:00 pm
Location: In Office Work; 2 Carlton Street, Suite 620, Toronto, ON, M5B 1J3
Salary: $17/hr

What You'll Do
· Flex your attention to detail through meticulously tracking all office inventory
· Own the project management of a critical organization-wide project, ensuring all stages of the move occur in the proper succession and according to deadlines
· Expedite the sale and removal of unneeded office furniture and supplies; independently sourcing interested buyers, charities, and other contacts to create mutually beneficial exchanges
· Box, move, and carefully handle sensitive office supplies, documents, etc. between building levels
· Efficiently categorize, pack, and transport all office supplies to ensure a seamless transition to a new office
· Diligently track and orchestrate the progress of the move, quickly learning who to ask different logistical inquiries along the way
· Take initiative by continuously implementing process improvements and system enhancements.
· Arrive with the adaptability to take on other tasks related to the program as they arise
