“Skills Advancement Training Information” 

The talk will cover the following courses with regards to eligibility, screening process, duration of the courses, classroom and placement component, evaluations and certificates the participants will receive upon completion. 

  • Forklift Licence
  • Bicycle Maintenance & Assembly
  • Landscaping
  • Early Childhood Assistant
  • Food Handlers

The speaker will also discuss settlement services for newcomers, including: Citizenship classes, referrals to furniture bank, welcome package and one-on-one services with clients for applying for citizenship class, PR card renewal, passport renewal, etc.
