Summer Jobs Service (SJS) is OPEN!

What is SJS? SJS is a program that supports students in their summer job search.

• Access to hundreds of summer jobs through our job postings
• Job Search, Resume, Worker Rights, and Interview Skills Workshops (schedule to be provided)
• One-on-One assistance with pre-employment and job search skills
• Job Fairs

Am I eligible for SJS? Yes, if you are:

• 15-30 years of age (MUST provide photo ID with birth date NOT A HEALTH CARD)
• Attended school during Winter Semester 2011 (MUST provide proof enrollment in school such as a recent student card)
• Planning on returning to school in the fall
• Eligible to work in Canada (MUST provide SIN Card)

Next Steps

• DROP IN at least ½ an hour before we close to register and sign up for jobs (no appointment necessary)
• Ensure you have an electronic copy of your resume
• Bring a copy of your resume if interested in resume help – If you do not have a resume we can help you create one
• Make a list of Job Order numbers of all jobs you are interested in applying to from our Summer Student Jobs Job Board
