Since 1968, Youth Employment Services YES has been the conduit to change for over 100,000 unemployed youth; to help them find jobs, to help them return to school, or to help them receive training. But with YES youth get more than just a job, they get assistance tailored to their individual needs. More importantly, YES participants gain confidence, dignity and hope for their future. You cannot put a price on that.

Sadly, over 20,000 Toronto youth use emergency shelters. They need affordable housing. More importantly, they need a job to be able to afford housing. Behind these statistics are real kids.

More than 8,000 youth come to Youth Employment Services YES every year to better their lives. Though some have a parental safety net, most don’t. Many of these youth live on the streets or in shelters. Some may have completed high school, but most haven’t.
