Job Connect

Job Connect assists youth to secure and maintain employment. Job Development and Placement Services (JDPS) works with local employers to provide on-the-job training and job placement services for Job Connect participants.

Free Services include:

  • Access to job information from over 3,000 employers
  • Job Fairs
  • Career Exploration
  • Computers and Internet
  • Voice mail
  • TTC tickets
  • New clothing allowance
  • Individual job search coach
  • Resume writing and cover letter help
  • Help with careers, apprenticeship, hidden job market
  • Referrals to community resources, e.g. upgrading, housing, counseling, training, financial support
